Below is a link to a poker tells quiz. It’s the quiz included in the book Exploiting Poker Tells, written by me, Zachary Elwood. When you’re finished taking it, you’ll have the option to review your answers and get feedback. You can take the quiz as many times as you want.
Some notes about the quiz:
- This quiz is focused on general patterns, meaning common patterns in the entire poker player population, taken as a whole. Most of the poker player population skews to being inexperienced and amateur-level, so general patterns will mostly reflect that less-skilled population. Experienced players are harder to read and may have different patterns (sometimes even opposite patterns).
- These are my own thoughts on poker tells. I don’t pretend to be the final, infallible source of poker tell knowledge. So if you are an experienced player and you disagree with some test questions and answers, there’s always the chance that a) I’m wrong about the general pattern, or b) the general pattern is different in the games you generally play in.
